About Me.
So, a bit more about me…
​
I was born in Adelaide to a Persian mother and Dutch-Australian father, and grew up in a vibrant and multicultural household – there was always music playing and food cooking on the stove. I added to that music when I began performing at a young age, starting ballet at the age of three and piano at six.
​
Throughout my childhood years, my passion for the arts continued to blossom, and I’m very grateful for the various opportunities I've had to develop this. Some of these include playing solo piano for 5 years since I was eight-years-old at the Adelaide Festival Theatre and touring the USA performing at Disney, Universal and attending workshops in NYC with the Australian Youth Performing Arts Team.

After high school, I moved to Brisbane to complete the Bachelor of Musical Theatre degree at the Queensland Conservatorium, Griffith University where I continued to develop these skills and work with many incredible artists. I have recently moved to Sydney, and am excited for what lies ahead.
​
The core passion that drives all my endeavours is the Baha’i Faith. This is the centre of my life and is actually one of the main reasons I chose musical theatre as a career. I've always wanted to serve through my work and help contribute to the advancements in culture and the world as whole. I believe that the Arts hold a special role in the attainment of this goal, and I feel so grateful that I'm able to contribute to it every day.

Since graduating, I’ve been involved in the creation of two musicals related to building communities and serving humanity and have also put some of the Baha'i Writings to music. Outside of the artistic expressions of my Faith, I love spending my time working towards the spiritual education and empowerment of children and youth and being involved in various social action projects.
​
Some of my other loves include planning fun dates and traveling with my husband, having a swim at the beach, or going on walks. I'm always so eager to meet new people and love finding out about all the things that motivate them in their lives.
